Log into WordPress and go to Users, Your Profile and if you’re not an admin, you’ll still see Profile where you can change your name.

You’ll want to fill our your first and last name here and then you can choose how to show your name under display name publicly as.

Then save changes and you’ll see it update under the toolbar as well as under the author link on posts.
