I’ve got a really cool message for you today about a concept I call the “Prolific Index”
What is the prolific index and why does it have everything to do with how much you’re either making or not making as an expert? It’s a concept that I explain in my new book
The prolific index is about your ability to be unique enough in your market that people will actually listen to you and give you money.
Now, a lot of times I work with experts and when they come to me one of the first things I notice is their message is… mainstream. Now, what is the mainstream? This is the stuff you get in schools or universities, stuff that you don’t have to really pay for and nobody really cares, they’re not gonna be that inspired to give you money because of that…
And then there’s the other side, I see people come out and they start selling stuff and start speaking messages in the “crazy” zone. The crazy zone is kind of fun and it’s interesting, but guess what? Nobody’s gonna give you money if your message is in the crazy zone. It’s too out there and not believable (or they aren’t willing to go there)
So there’s a sweet spot in between the mainstream and the crazy zone and I call it the prolific zone. This is where your message is unique enough that people listen and it’s interesting enough that they actually care and will buy.

You’ve got to figure out if you actually want to make money with your message… if so, you’ve gotta make sure you’re not in the mainstream, make sure you’re not in the crazy zone, and figure out what your message is that falls within the prolific zone… because this is where people listen, this is where they care and will actually pay you money.
