Summary of this tutorial:
Start by installing and acticaitng the Simple Calendar Google Calendar Plugin then go to the Calendars, Settings page.
For the calendar to work you would need to get an API key by vising the Google Developer Console website and clicking the create new project button.
You will need to provide a name for your project, it can be anything you want but something that helps you identify it would be best.
You would want to enable APIs and then under the Apps APIs you want the calendar API enabled.
Go to credentials and create a server key and provide a name for it.
Now Go to your calendar dropdown and share the calendar as public to get the calendar ID that you will need.
Now go to Calendars, Add New and you will be able to set up your calendar.

огромное вам спасибо!!!
Excellently simple instructions, if only all tutorials were this well presented.
I’ve followed all the instructions and thanks for being so clear! However, after I’ve created my calendar when I add new events to the google calendar, they don’t show up on my WordPress google calendar. Why? Is it because they are past events?
thanks! this video was really useful.
Excellent, easy to follow tutorial. Ready to add my first calendar. Thanks!
Clear, precise, slow enough for beginners like me. I wish you would also put out a video explaining my taxes.
Perfectly clear, ideal for beginners like me ! Thanks a lot !
This was great. Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for a wonderful tutorial! However, I would like to ask you if I want to give my customers the option to book at a specific time, what can I do about that? With your help I was able to integrate a Google Calendar, but how do I take appointments with that, and also display the available times, say from morning 8 AM to evening 6 PM.
Hi, thanks for the video, I have a requirement to connect 3 parties with calendar.
End Customer , Vendor and our Our Back end. For eg lets say one customer selects a restaurant appointment. Is that possible if all parties – End Customer , Vendor and our Our Backend system can be synchronized ?
Hi,

How can I set up my calender so that the first day of the week is Sunday, and not Monday?
Open Google Calendar.
Click the settings gear in the top right.
Select Settings.
In the Week starts on section, select an option from the drop-down menu.
Click Save.
