The WordPress visual editor can do many things but creating tables is not one of them. While you can create tables manually with HTML some users don’t have the coding knowledge to do this. In this video, we will show you how to add tables in WordPress posts and pages no HTML required.

Summary of this Tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the TablePress plugin.
This will add a TablePress item in your admin area.
Go to Tablepress, Add New Table
You can add a new table, name it, add a description and tell it the rows and columns needed.
Next click add table to add the contents of the table including images and links using the table manipulation
You can edit the cells after the table is created using the table manipulation
Even set a a table header in the table options.
With the content set you can preview it then save changes.
Now when you add a new post there will be a icon to add the table

Is there a way I can create tables in-line, rather than have them saved as there own item to reference with a short-code. My client will be posting competition results on blog posts and creating the table separately is tedious and unnecessary.

Is it possible to make the first column of the table a bold font? Also, can I make it so there are lines in between each row?

how to make a table with filters. Say I have a list of car brands with different important information that matter to the potential buyers. Say, i want to check the list for BMW with information like year, millage, color, price .. etc. How do we do that? thanks alot.
