How to Add Title Attribute in WordPress Navigation Menus

Adding something simple such as the title attribute to the menu can seem confusing but we will show you how to add it in this video. The title attribute allows you to provide extra information about a link. It will show a tooltip text when someone hovers over the link.

Summary of this tutorial:

You would want to go under Appearance, Menus and in the top right there is a section called Screen Options.

It will bring down a menu where you can check the box for Title Attribute.

With that enabled you would go under each option and there will be a new field for Title Attribute.

This will allow you to add the text you want as the title attribute and do so for all the items in your menu.
